I had to laugh at a few of these quotes. One of my favourite quotes: It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt.
Good post! Most of them rather rang true.
Oh ya, how true, most of them, Francine.
Oh, I loved all of these......my primary pet peeve is stupidity.....mine and everyone else's.
Wonderful quotes! The picture of the man with the rock delicately balanced over his head reminds me of my son's reason for always wearing his motorcycle helmet, "My head is my most precious possession."

"Unless one pretends to be stupid and deaf, it is difficult to be a mother-in-law or father-in-law." Chinese proverb
On the contrary a whole lot of misunderstandings could be avoided if a person would open their ears and their mind. It would be difficult to be a effective father, grand-father and father-in law if the person does not wear his hearing aides and does not pay any attention to what is happening with the people around him.
I enjoyed your parenthetical notes.
I loved this! You had me smiling throughout the entire reading of it. Great job.
So true, so true.
These were great. How did you collect them all?
